Triptych reliquary

This small reliquary is poorly made and contrasts with the rest of the treasure. In its centre, we see a small silver embossed figure that might represent Saint Catherine of Alexandria. On the doors are portrayed Saint Peter, Saint Barbara, Saint Paul and Saint Ursula. Beneath the central figure are the names of the saints whose relics were contained in this work. The triptych would have been made after Jacques de Vitry’s last trip to Oignies.
