Small reliquary of Saint Nicolas

Made by Hugo, this reliquary comprises a hexagonal tube in rock crystal, with a silver setting and cover surmounted with a (more recent) Crucifix. On the knop of the reliquary we can distinguish representations of dragons which indicate knowledge of a bestiary. A small reliquary of the Holy Blood, enclosed in a gold Byzantine box, was later inserted into the rock crystal holder.
